The Mervyn Burtch Trust

The Mervyn Burtch Trust was formed in October 2014 to ensure that Mervyn's vast corpus of works remains accessible to performers, educators, promoters, broadcasters, publishers, and anyone with an interest in his music.

There are currently three Trustees: Michael McCartney, Simon Rees, and Robert Edge.

Our aims include the maintenance of this website and the completion of the online catalogue of works, the collaboration with the National Library of Wales to create a digital archive of all of Mervyn's manuscripts, and the encouragement and support of performances and recordings.

The Trust now holds the copyright on all of Mervyn's unpublished works, and we welcome enquiries from publishers, recording companies and performers who would like to present any of Mervyn's music.

We would very much like to make contact with anyone who has known or worked with Mervyn, and particularly with anyone who has performed or recorded his music. Please contact us if you have information about performances (past, present or future), or if you have reminiscences or anecdotes you would like to share.

If you have any questions about Mervyn's works, or would like to obtain copies of any unpublished music, please contact us at the email address below.
